Bright green, earthy elements, warm sunshine, and a couple very much in love made June 14th a perfect day! Leslie and Brandon were in my life group at church and I also had the privilege of working alongside Leslie with the middle school students at church. Leslie and I met several times to discuss all the photography/scheduling details of her wedding day, and she was always so EXCITED to become Mrs. Caudill! It was also obvious how much our weddings were similarly themed: trees, nature, green dresses, lacy wedding gown, simple yet stunning flowers :) It was a joy to plan with Leslie because she has a determined spirit (everyone who knows Leslie knows this about her, and it's why we love her!). She knew exactly how she wanted things, and if she didn't know a specific, she trusted me with my previous experience! Now THAT is something every photographer dreams of having in a bride! So thank you, Leslie!
My favorite thing about weddings (other than the absolute bliss of two people joining in union before the Lord) is all of the details! Leslie works at Starbucks, so their favors were small bags of coffee. Their cake was covered with fondant leaves/vines. Leslie wore woven "sandals" that her sister Rachel handmade. Leslie's pearl bracelet was given to her from her grandmother, one pearl for each year of her life. The bridesmaids all had hand imprinted leaf necklaces to match the decor. It all tied together beautifully.
Mr. & Mrs. Caudill, enjoy every second of life you have together, even the rough moments. Every single event is an opportunity for growth and a way to show each other how much you love one another! A marriage that is successful is one that is firmly planted in glorifying the Lord!
Enjoy these photographs from their BEAUTIFUL day!
