A Classic & Romantic Wedding with Navy + Gold
As we drove into Chillicothe, a light rain started. Michael and I immediately started praying for no rain as we took portraits! When we arrived, Alyssa seemed to be bursting at the seams with joy, so ready to call Jordan her husband! Alyssa was such a classic bride! She had a stunning dress covered on lace and sequins. Her beautiful pearl bracelet and matching earrings were the perfect touch to complete her look. Jordan sported a navy tuxedo and a bow tie. Their first look happened in a neighbor's backyard where Alyssa played growing up! We had the PRETTIEST light! We finished up all of the pictures right before it started pouring!
We are always so thankful for our couples. Alyssa & Jordan made the ceremony completely about the Lord. Their pastor began with a message from the couple, sharing their desire to have the wedding reflect Christ. After singing songs focused on the love of God, Alyssa & Jordan extended an invitation to their guests to stop them mid hug to talk about knowing the Lord. The final song declared, "All glory be to Christ!" Such a perfect ending to a ceremony that lifted up the name of Jesus! Michael and I both felt so overwhelmed with grace and the beauty of the Gospel.
The reception was filled with delicious food, laughter, meaningful toasts, and DANCING. For those of you who attended the wedding, you are well aware that Jordan is the most expressive and energetic dancer. I spent the majority of the time just LAUGHING because his moves were hilarious! The bridal party enjoyed bottled cokes (evidently it's the best way to drink it from what Michael's told me) and both sets of parents as well as the bride & groom shared their dances to the same song.
Alyssa & Jordan both are immensely blessed with godly families. Their love for Christ reflected onto us all day, and they showed us the sweetest grace and kindness! We LOVED being a part of your day!
Enjoy! May your marriage be fully blessed and glorifying to God!
