A Romantic Navy & Fuchsia Downtown Wedding in Portsmouth, Ohio
Oh these two. What a story of grace, love, and patience. Hannah & Eric contacted me last August about their wedding, and Michael and I were thrilled to photograph their wedding! We both knew Eric from Scioto Hills Camp, and we knew that he was IN LOVE with Hannah! :) During their engagement session, Hannah and I connected immediately! I knew they were going to be one of my favorite couples. Why? Because their desire to love each other in a way that reflects Christ first and foremost is so obvious. They have a Gospel-centered love for each other that is contagious, and it was such a JOY to be on this journey with them!
Hannah & Eric have persevered through so many trials during their engagement. Hannah's grandmother and Eric's father passed away only a few months before the wedding. They had to change the wedding date three times, but they never gave up on pursuing the Lord and becoming husband and wife. They showed such incredible faith in the Lord. and He is blessing them with each other!
Their wedding day could not have been more perfect! Hannah was the most beautiful bride, elegant, stunning, and so ready to see her man! Eric showed such genuine love for his soon to be wife as they finished their first look with a prayer, dedicating their wedding day fully to Him. Friends and family surrounded the lovely couple as they became one. Their reception was at the Scioto County Courthouse, and it was so beautiful!!
Thank you so much for allowing us to capture your wedding day! We love you both!
I LOVE these shots that Michael took!
The portrait in front of the fountain is one of my most favorite images that I've ever taken! Who says shooting in direct sunlight can't be beautiful?
Eric wanted to recreate a picture from his dad when he got married!
Hannah obviously smashed the cake in Eric's face, so he returned the favor. It was epic!
I'll post a list of the vendors soon!
