A Southern Country Club Wedding | Louisville, KYThe very first time that I met with Natalie and Ryan, Natalie and I were chatting before Ryan came back with his and her coffee. She opened up to me about how special Ryan made her feel and how no one else in the world made her feel so comfortable. She told me that she knew she could be completely herself with him and that made it easy to fall in love with him. Their beautiful country club wedding at The Regency on Saturday truly encapsulated the joy and deep friendship and connection that marriage should be. While the weather was overcast, Natalie‘s joy radiated all day long, and nothing could take away her happiness! I always have personal favorite highlights from every single wedding. Ryan’s reaction to his beautiful bride walking towards him down the aisle was so raw, tearful, and beautiful. As soon as she turned the corner and was standing directly in front of him all the way at the end of the aisle tears filled his eyes. As a photographer this is one of the sweetest moments to be able to capture, but it also overwhelms me with emotion, remembering how Michael looked at me when I walk down the aisle too! Another favorite part of the day for both of us was how sweet and kind Natalie and Ryan’s families were. Tracy (Ryan’s mom) and Belinda (Natalie’s mom) checked in with us, made sure we were fed, thanked us, and welcomed us with open arms. We would like to request being adopted into both families please :) Natalie and Ryan wrote their own personal vows to each other in matching grey and gold vow booklets. Ryan started off by describing his nervousness when anticipating their first date together. He then went on to say that within seconds he felt completely at ease because Natalie was so easy to talk to, so sweet and confident. He said that for their second date they went to a movie (a really terrible movie) but they ended up talking through the entire thing because their bond was instantaneous. Immediately they knew that this was really special, a different kind of relationship than either of them experienced before. Over and over, genuine love was displayed in beautiful ways throughout their wedding day. Natalie and Ryan did not take for granted all of the people who helped pull their wedding together, and even planned a surprise birthday cupcake for each of their moms because their birthdays were this week! They selflessly loved all of the people around them that mean the world to them. Natalie and Ryan, we are overjoyed and so honored to have been a part of your wedding day. Taking photographs of every moment is something that we do not take for granted, but above all we are so thankful for your friendship, kindness, and joyful spirits throughout this whole process! We absolutely love celebrating with you and are so excited about your marriage!
